China’s manganese exports expand 22.6% in Jun

Exports rose 22.6% from May to stand at 39,844.61 mt in Jun

SHANGHAI, Aug 1 (SMM) – China exported 39,844.61 mt of unwrought manganese, manganese scrap and powder, wrought manganese and manganese products in June, up 22.6% from 32,500 mt in May, showed the latest data from China Customs.

Electrolytic manganese, including unwrought manganese, manganese scrap and powder, accounted for 35,593 mt, up 19.92% from a month ago but down 2.89% from a year ago.

Exports of wrought manganese and manganese products rose 50.8% month on month and 37.6% year on year to stand at 4,251 mt in June.
