DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingSHANGHAI, Jul 31 (SMM) – China’s imports of unwrought, non-alloyed nickel rose 18.5% from a month ago and 35.6% from a year ago to stand at 21,127 mt in June, showed the latest data from China Customs.
This was bolstered by a sharp increase in imports of Russian materials, which expanded 1,360% from May and 228% from June 2018 to 10,894 mt.
In the first six months of the year, China’s imports of unwrought, non-alloyed nickel amounted to 96,400 mt, with a year-over-year decline of 25.7%.
