SMM7, 25th, news:

Prices of rare earth products continued to remain weak today. In terms of light rare earths, the price of praseodymium and neodymium oxide fell to 28.7-292000 yuan / ton, and neodymium oxide fell to 28.9-294000 yuan / ton. In terms of medium and heavy rare earths, the prices of most medium and heavy rare earths fell today. Dysprosium oxide was quoted at 180-1.83 million yuan / ton, terbium oxide at 392-3.95 million yuan / ton, holmium oxide at 38-390000 yuan / ton and erbium oxide at 18-185000 yuan / ton. Under the current weak demand environment, the prices of rare earth products have fallen, the market is still on the low side of the source of goods, large factory quotations are generally weak and stable. With the gradual decline in the price of rare earth products, the wait-and-see mood of downstream enterprises is getting stronger, and the actual transaction in the market has not improved today. It is expected that the price downward trend will be difficult to improve in the short term when the fundamentals of light rare earth products such as praseodymium and neodymium oxide are weak and the news boost is lost. For medium and heavy rare earths, in the long run, due to the tight supply of raw materials, there is still room for upward growth after rising demand, but in the short term, due to weak demand, it is expected to remain weak.

[SMM Recycled Rare Earth Weekly Review: Scrap Prices Stable, Market Activity Slows Ahead of Holiday] Overall, Pr-Nd scrap prices remained stable this week, with a slight upward adjustment near the weekend. Recycling enterprises turned cautious about chasing higher prices after wrapping up pre-holiday stockpiling, while suppliers showed low willingness to sell. Market activity gradually cooled as the holiday approached. In the short term, the market is expected to remain quiet during the holiday with little improvement in trading, and Pr-Nd scrap prices are likely to maintain a stable pattern.
