Primary aluminium inventories decline 7,000 mt on week

Stocks decreased by 7,000 mt from a week ago to stand at 1.035 million mt as of Jul 25

SHANGHAI, Jul 25 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium in China unexpectedly fell this week, despite a low consumption season grinding on.

SMM data showed that stocks across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, decreased by 7,000 mt from a week ago to stand at 1.035 million mt as of Thursday July 25.

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 314,000 mt

Shanghai – 200,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 262,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 103,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 65,000 mt

Tianjin – 51,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 17,000 mt

Chongqing –23,000 mt
