According to the latest developments in the organization of the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hua Chunying was appointed Director of the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Lu Kang was transferred to North America and Oceania.

On the afternoon of the 18th, Lu Kang, as a spokesman, presided over the regular press conference of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the last time. He announced on the spot that he would no longer serve as director and spokesman of the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. "Lu Kang no longer serves as director of the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the whereabouts of the spokesman have not yet been announced.

Earlier, Hua Chunying had just returned to work in the Information Department after training in a youth class at the Central Party School.
