Primary aluminium inventories expand 5,000 mt over weekend

Stocks gained 5,000 mt from Jul 18 to stand at 1.047 million mt as of Jul 22

SHANGHAI, Jul 22 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, gained 5,000 mt from Thursday July 18 to stand at 1.047 million mt as of Monday July 22, showed SMM data.

Over the weekend during July 11-15, stocks expanded 1,000 mt.

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 318,000 mt

Shanghai – 200,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 269,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 104,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 65,000 mt

Tianjin – 53,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 15,000 mt

Chongqing –23,000 mt
