Primary aluminium inventories inch up 1,000 mt over weekend

SHANGHAI, Jul 15 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, extended their increase over the weekend, gaining 1,000 mt from Thursday July 11 to stand at 1.043 million mt as of Monday July 15, SMM data showed.

Stocks expanded 14,000 mt in the week ended July 11, marking the first weekly increase in about four months.

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 328,000 mt

Shanghai – 201,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 246,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 110,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 68,000 mt

Tianjin – 54,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 14,000 mt

Chongqing –22,000 mt
