SHANGHAI, Jul 12 (SMM) – Social inventories of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city, and Tianjin port continue to grow this week, gaining 4,000 mt from a week ago to stand at 52,000 mt as of Friday July 12, showed SMM data.
Stocks at Huangpu port and Kunming expanded, as supply exceeded demand after the resumption of smelters in Sichuan and Yunnan.
Despite poor purchases, stocks in Tianjin port remained barely changed as arrivals were soon exported.
