Primary aluminium inventories shrink 10,000 mt over weekend

Stocks fell 10,000 mt from Jun 27 to stand at 1.041 million mt as of Jul 1

SHANGHAI, Jul 1 (SMM) – Social inventories of primary aluminium across eight consumption areas in China, including SHFE warrants, fell 10,000 mt from Thursday June 27 to stand at 1.041 million mt as of Monday July 1, after they lost 20,000 mt in the prior weekend between June 20-24, showed SMM data.

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 340,000 mt

Shanghai – 207,000 mt

Nanhai, Guangdong – 240,000 mt

Gongyi, Henan – 105,000 mt

Hangzhou, Zhejiang – 62,000 mt

Tianjin – 55,000 mt

Linyi, Shandong – 9,000 mt

Chongqing –23,000 mt
