CISA holds meeting on tax, fee cuts in steel industry

SHANGHAI, Jun 18 (SMM) – The China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) held a symposium in Beijing on Tuesday June 18 to gather feedback after the implementation of policies such as tax, fee cuts in the steel industry. 

Fifteen key steel producers including Taiyuan Iron & Steel, Baowu Steel, and Angang Steel attended the meeting. 

Participants discussed issues encountered in the implementation of policies on cutting value-added taxes and fees, and on easing financing burdens for companies. Opinions and suggestions on further tax and fee reduction were also discussed.
