SHANGHAI, Jun 14 (SMM) – Social inventories of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city, and Tianjin port continued to shrink by 2,000 mt in the week to Friday June 14, to stand at 42,000 mt, as a drought in south-west China slowed the recovery of local producers.
The decline came after a drop of 10,000 mt in the previous week. Silicon inventories in the north, however, continued to grow as trades remained thin this week.
