South32: in a steady state of 14 tailing dams in Australia will increase funds for the construction of tailing dams

Mining company South32 disclosed the condition of its latest tailing dam, saying it would pose a "high" or "significant" risk if its 14 tailing dams in Australia break. However, South32 also stressed that the 14 tailings dams have been formally analyzed, the 14 tailings dams have been in a steady state, and there has never been an obvious stability problem. In 2019, South32 will spend more than $55 million on tailings dams, up 57.1 per cent from $35 million last year.

SMM6 11: mining company South32 disclosed the latest tailing dam condition, saying that if its 14 tailing dams in Australia break, it will have a "high" or "significant" risk.

However, South32 also stressed that the 14 tailings dams have been formally analyzed, the 14 tailings dams have been in a steady state, and there has never been an obvious stability problem.

South32 also announced the company's 68 tailing dams, 37 of which are run by themselves and 31 of which are operated by the company's joint ventures.

Of the 37 tailings dams, 20 are active and 16 are inactive, one of which has been closed.

In 2019, South32 will spend more than $55 million on tailings dams, up 57.1 per cent from $35 million last year.
