Report: China releases 5G licences for commercial use

China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom, and China Broadcasting Network Corp received licences

China officially released its 5G licences for commercial use to four companies on Thursday June 6.

According to state broadcaster CCTV, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued 5G commercial licenses to the three major mobile carriers, China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom, and China Broadcasting Network Corp.
