SMM6, April 4: according to the Menafn website, the latest announcement by, Mithril Resource Company on June 3 shows that the field trip of the, Billy Hills zinc mine project will begin this week.

The project is located 25 km east of the Western Australian city of Fitzroy Crossing, adjacent to the former Pillara zinc mine.

During the period from June 1997 to October 2003, the proven reserves of Pillara zinc deposit reached 18.05 million tons, with a zinc grade of 7.7% and a lead grade of 2.4%. The output of underground ore is 10.3t, the grade of zinc is 6.9%, and the grade of lead is 2.3%. But so far the project has been closed.

Historically, the grade of zinc concentrate in this area is between 57% and 63%, and the grade of lead concentrate is between 73% and 81%. So smelters used to pay high prices for lead-zinc mines in the area.

So Billy Hills zinc mine is the key project of Mithril Resource development at present, but the company believes that compared with the Pillara zinc mine, Billy Hills zinc mine project located in the same area, the company is still insufficient exploration, the company's goal is to explore large-scale zinc, lead and silver.
