SMM News: on May 16, Forbes released the list of the top 2000 listed companies in the world in 2019. Zijin Mining ranked 889th, up 58 places from last year, and ranked 10th on the list of non-ferrous metal companies in the world. The first place is the global gold enterprise and the first place is the Chinese non-ferrous metal enterprise.
Zijin ranked 10th among the 33 global non-ferrous metal companies (excluding black) on the list, up four places from the previous year, while Zijin ranked first among the four global gold companies on the list. This was followed by Barrick Gold (1084), Newmont Mining (1195) and Canadian Gold (1975).
Among the domestic non-ferrous metal enterprises on the list at the same time as Zijin Mining, China Hongqiao ranked 921, Chinalco ranked 924th, Jiangxi Copper ranked 1227, Luoyang Molybdenum ranked 1270 and Tongling Nonferrous ranked 1938.
Forbes uses four indicators of the same weight (sales, profits, assets and market value) to rank the size of the business, which is calculated from the closing price on April 18, 2019. This is the 17th year that Forbes has released a list of the top 2000 listed companies in the world. Among the top 10 companies are five Chinese companies, four American companies and one Dutch company.
