SMM5, March 30: rare earths have become the focus of attention of Chinese people today, due to long-standing trade frictions between China and the United States. The market guesses whether rare earths have become a sharp sword against the United States. After General Secretary Xi visited Jiangxi Jinli permanent Magnet Technology Co., Ltd., which is located in Ganzhou, rare earth prices rose sharply at one point, and rare earth related stocks have recently become a hot target.

As a large rare earth country, China is highly dependent on Chinese rare earth resources, and the United States is about 80% dependent on Chinese rare earth resources. China's cheap export of rare earths as a result of some illegal mining has become an urgent problem to be solved. In recent years, the domestic campaign to crack down on rare earths has also been carried out, but it is still banned repeatedly. The state and the governments of the major production areas are also gradually increasing their attention to this.

Chaozhou Daily reported that a special action meeting on cracking down on rare earth violations was held on May 29, which revealed that Chaozhou will carry out a special campaign to crack down on rare earth violations between June and August this year.

It is understood that according to the provincial special action plan, Chaozhou City will carry out work according to the local self-examination and special inspection stage. All county and district governments (administrative committees) should organize relevant departments, carry out comprehensive investigation and self-examination in accordance with the requirements of the rectification work, and severely crack down on illegal and illegal acts such as illegal mining of rare earths; the relevant municipal departments should organize and carry out special inspections.

Lin Shaoming, member of the standing Committee of the Municipal CPC Committee, vice mayor, and commander-in-chief of the Chaozhou headquarters, demanded that the special action to crack down on rare earth violations and violations be carried out in strict accordance with the requirements of the work. It is necessary to carry out supervision duties step by step, strengthen the sense of responsibility, clarify the division of tasks, and carry out comprehensive investigation and special inspection in accordance with the requirements of rectification work, so as to ensure that various crackdown measures are in place. It is necessary to do its duty and fulfill its responsibility, and punish acts such as illegal mining, illegal production, and buying and selling illegal rare earth products in accordance with the rules and regulations. It is necessary to strengthen organizational leadership, closely focus on the special action to crack down on rare earth violations and violations, cooperate closely, cooperate fully, make rapid arrangements, speed up the organization and implementation, and ensure the effectiveness of the special actions.
