At present, the number of new energy vehicles in China is more than 2.19 million, which is expected to reach 500 to 6.3 million by 2020, and more than 200000 tons of power batteries will be decommissioned. There is an urgent practical demand for the cascade utilization and accurate dismantling and recovery of decommissioned batteries. It is also a powerful measure to promote the sustainable development of new energy automobile industry. The expert Group listened carefully to the report, considered the implementation programme materials, fully questioned and discussed the relevant content, unanimously agreed to adopt the demonstration, and put forward suggestions and opinions on the specific implementation of the project and the subject.
The project aims at the problems of wide variety, great performance difference, low disassembly efficiency and poor precision of material collection in large-scale decommissioned power batteries. It is proposed to carry out research on key technologies such as rapid classification of decommissioned batteries, heterogeneous compatible cascade utilization, multi-dimensional selection and intelligent reprinting, intelligent disassembly and material collection, as well as the ecological coupling model of the whole life cycle value chain of power batteries. It is expected to construct the commercial operation mode of reverse supply chain of power battery, and realize the profound utilization and fine recovery of decommissioned power battery, so as to promote the sustainable development of new energy industry in our country.
According to the report, "Recycling and Utilization of Power batteries for New Energy vehicles," at present, the number of decommissioned batteries is very small, and with the introduction of relevant national and local policies and measures, strengthen industry guidance and play the role of market mechanism. Automobile production enterprises began to implement the requirements of the extended producer responsibility system and build a recovery system. Other enterprises are also promoted by policy and economic factors to carry out recycling in each link, and the recovery and utilization system is speeding up.
