Silicon social inventories shrink as deliveries improve

Stocks edged down 1,000 mt from Apr 26 and stood at 55,000 mt as of May 10

SHANGHAI, May 10 (SMM) – Social inventories of silicon metal across Huangpu port, Kunming city, and Tianjin port lost 1,000 mt from April 26 and stood at 55,000 mt as of Friday May 10, SMM data showed.

Improved deliveries across the three hubs lowered stocks in Tianjin port. Stocks in Kunming rose as arrivals grew after plants in Nujiang restarted.
