Report: Shandong Weiqiao, Sigma to jointly build secondary aluminium project

The project is designed with an annualised capacity of 300,000 mt molten secondary aluminium

SHANGHAI, May 9 (SMM) – Weiqiao Aluminum & Power and secondary aluminium producer Sigma Group on May 7 agreed to construct 300,000 mt of molten secondary aluminium capacity in Zouping of Shandong province, a source told SMM on Thursday May 9.

With an investment of 600 million yuan, the green project focuses on the recycling of #3104 aluminium can.
