Imports of iron ore, concentrate fall 6.54% in Apr

The reading stood 2.59% lower from Apr 2018

SHANGHAI, May 8 (SMM) – China's imports of iron ore and concentrate in April shrank 6.54% from March to register 80.77 million mt, standing 2.59% lower from April 2018, showed data by China Customs on Wednesday May 8.

This lowered year-to-date imports of iron ore and concentrate by 3.33%, or 11.78 million mt, from January-April in 2018, to 341 million mt.
