Inner Mongolia ferrochrome plant launches new capacity

This is expected to add its output by 5,000 mt in May

SHANGHAI, May 8 (SMM) – A high-carbon ferrochrome producer in Inner Mongolia recently commissioned a 33,000KVA submerged-arc furnace and this is expected to expand its output by 5,000 mt in May, an SMM survey found on Wednesday May 8.

The plant has an annualised capacity of 240,000 mt high-carbon ferrochrome.
