Daily crude steel output at CISA member mills expands 2.6% in mid-Apr

Daily output averaged 2.006 million mt during Apr 11-20, up 2.59% from Apr 1-10

SHANGHAI, May 5 (SMM) – Daily output of crude steel across China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) member mills averaged 2.006 million mt during April 11-20, up 2.59%, or 50,700 mt from April 1-10, according to the latest data.

Inventories of steel products across CISA member mills increased by 3.88%, or 479,000 mt from April 10 and came in at 12.825 million mt as of April 20.
