SHANGHAI, May 5 (SMM) – Stocks of 6063 aluminium billet across five major consumption areas in China stemmed their seven consecutive weeks of declines and inched up this week, as more cargoes arrived.
SMM data showed that inventories rose some 2,700 mt from Thursday April 25 to stand at 94,900 mt as of Sunday May 5.
This period covered a four-day holiday for the celebration of Labour Day that ended on May 4.

Wuxi, Jiangsu – 16,600 mt
Changzhou, Jiangsu – 7,500 mt
Huzhou, Zhejiang – 10,000 mt
Nanchang, Jiangxi – 7,700 mt
