Brexit extraneous: delay in Brexit is inevitable

iconMar 4, 2019 19:27

SMM3 4-EU negotiator Barnier said recently that even if the British Parliament passes the draft Brexit agreement next week, the European Union will not give the green light for Britain, Britain's delay in Brexit is inevitable.

An Irish minister said on condition of anonymity that the Irish prime minister told cabinet members that the date of Brexit was "very likely" to be postponed from March 29 to June.

It is reported that British Prime Minister May promised to submit the revised agreement to Parliament by March 12. If members reject the agreement, they will decide whether there is no agreement to leave the European Union. Or whether to extend the duration of negotiations on Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty.

Markets have been waiting for the end of Britain's endless Brexit, perhaps in return for another two months of postponement. The best outcome was that the British Parliament passed May's Brexit draft by March 12, and then Britain agreed to leave the European Union in an orderly manner. Mei Zeng said that any extension should not exceed the end of June. Well, by July at the latest, you should be able to know the final outcome of Brexit.
