Copper miner Sandfire produces 17000 tons of copper in the fourth quarter of 2018 estimated to produce 63000-67000 tons of copper in 19 years

SMM1, 31 March-Copper miner Sandfire Resources said on Wednesday that Sandfire produced 16888 tons of copper and 10427 ounces of gold in the fourth quarter of 2018, compared with 17924 tons of copper and 11141 ounces of gold in the third quarter.

At the end of the quarter, concentrate stocks were about 22500 tons, of which about 5500 tons were copper.

Copper production for the whole of 2019 is expected to be at the upper end of the target range of 63000 to 67000 tons, and gold production for the whole year is also expected to be at a high level in the target range of 37000 to 40, 000 ounces.
