SMM1, 22 March: the World Economic Forum in Davos 2019 will be held in Switzerland from January 22 to 25. It is expected that more than 3,000 representatives, experts and young leaders from political, business, academic and civil society, arts and media sectors from more than 110 countries around the world will attend.

On the question of what is Industrial 4.0, Xu Xiaonian, a famous economist, gave a thorough explanation at the made in China 2025 Summit Forum in the second section. Xu Xiaonian said that the development of industrial technology can be divided into four stages:

Industry 1.0: power and mechanization represented by steam engine and electric power;

Industry 2.0: like Taylor flow production line as production automation and management automation, production line, customer management, finance, human resources and other processes are automated;

Industry 3.0: the mutual opening of each process and the embedding of the system to eliminate the isolated island of information is an information driven by data. From the organizational structure, it is from the tree-like strip management to the network-like structure.

Industry 4.0: realize the intelligence on the main node on the basis of industry 3.0. The so-called intelligence is that the network node has the function of feedback learning and decision-making.

Briefly speaking, industry 1.0 is mechanization, industry 2.0 is automation, industry 3.0 is information, industry 4.0 is intelligent, each stage is based on the previous stage, can be realized at the same time, but can not be omitted, can not be surpassed.

Leaders of major countries have indicated that they will not attend Davos.

On January 21st the International Monetary Fund (IMF) cut its forecast for world growth in 2019 to 3.5%, the slowest pace in three years. The IMF expects global economic growth to slow to 3.5 per cent in 2019 and 3.6 per cent in 2020, 0.2 and 0.1 percentage points lower than the October 2018 forecast. At the same time, this is the second time in three months that the economic growth forecast has been revised. For more information, see "IMF cut its forecast for world growth to 3.5 per cent in 2019, the lowest in three years."

Surprisingly, however, at a time of so much global economic pressure in 2019, big-country leaders have vowed to cancel Davos.

1. Us President Donald Trump: earlier this month, Trump tweeted that he would cancel his trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos because of the "shutdown" crisis in the United States.

2. British Prime Minister Theresa May (Aunt May): aunt May, who has just suffered the "worst ever" vote, is also dealing with Brexit and is launching Plan B for Brexit.

3. French President Macron: French President Macron was unable to travel to Davos to attend the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum at the end of January because of a busy schedule and a domestic "yellow vest" march, the French president Macron quoted the Elys é e Palace in France as saying.

4. South Korean President Moon Jae-in: a spokesman for South Korea's Blue House Station said at a regular press conference in the middle of this month (November 11) that Wen will not attend the Davos Forum. The spokesman said that Moon had considered attending, but finally decided not to attend.

South Korea's economic growth hit a six-year low of 2.7% last year

5. Indian Chief Executive Modi: because India is currently preparing for a general election and there were 200 million protests earlier this month, Modi eventually cancelled his trip.
