SMM12, 27 December: at 10:00 on December 26, China Minmetals Hunan Nonferrous Copper, lead and Zinc Industry Base Hunan Zhuye Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. successfully fed 300000 tons of zinc smelting project. According to SMM research, the success of the feeding marks the gradual closure of the old factory. The original plan was to close the old factory on December 26 and start production at the new plant, which was the end of the relocation.

However, it is currently in the feeding stage, and it still takes time for the output to recover, and it is still difficult to ease the current tension of zinc ingots in the short term, because in December, before the new plant comes out of the product, the old plant gradually reduces its own output. The overall reduction is more; By January, with the closure of the old plant, although the new plant began to produce products, it still needs a process. Zhuzhou smelter is expected to produce more than 10,000 tons of zinc ingots in December, compared with about 10,000 tons in January, but in the long run, it will gradually enter the stage of reaching production. In the later period, it is expected that it may gradually return to the normal level at the end of the first quarter and the beginning of the second quarter, when the supply of some zinc ingots will be increased, and the output will increase slightly compared with the previous month, but in terms of the degree of mitigation, the market still needs to pay attention to the recovery of production reduction in Hanzhong.
