







SMM12, 20 March: recently, according to foreign media reports, Kidman (Kidman Resources Ltd.) has signed a memorandum of understanding with LG Chemical, agreeing that Kidman will supply 12000 tons of lithium hydroxide to LG Chemical within 10 years.
Kidman, full name Kidman Resources Ltd. It's a lithium battery developer. Kidman is currently working with Chile's SQM to develop the Mount Holland hard Rock Lithium Project, located in western Australia. At the same time, Kidman is building a plant to process lithium into battery-grade materials, which is expected to start construction in 2021.
Tesla, the US electric car giant, has also signed a three-year fixed-price lithium supply agreement with Kidman, which began when Kidman's project in Western Australia began production.
At the same time, as recently as October, Kidman said in a statement that it would work with Chile's SQM to build Mt.. (Holland) the lithium mine and the construction of a refinery in Western Australia to produce lithium hydroxide is expected to generate total revenues of US $33.5 billion over the next 47 years. The project is expected to produce an average of 45254 tons of lithium hydroxide (including C1 cash costs) per year, excluding government royalties and contingency costs, at US $4487 per tonne.
