[LME WEEK] Codelco or avoid supplying 10 per cent of sales

SMM10, 12 Feb: the chairman of Codelco, the world's largest copper producer, said the request for more than 10 per cent of the company's sales to the Chilean military is likely to be cancelled.

Benavides said Codelco was unlikely to be privatised or listed internationally. "it is believed that Codelco is not currently internationalized, which is a state-owned company protected by the Constitution."
