JW Aluminum plans to invest $32.8 million to upgrade Aluminum foil production equipment

SMM, Sept. 25: (JW Aluminum), a US flat steel and aluminum producer, announced on Thursday that it plans to invest US $32.8 million to upgrade its aluminum foil production equipment in Goose Creek (Goose Creek), South Carolina.

JW Aluminium said the improvements were designed to help the company provide better and higher quality products for the packaging industry.

Ryan Rush, chief business officer of JW Aluminium, said the new equipment will benefit customers, both now and in the future. "these investments have strengthened our ability to continue to improve in the core markets. We are investing to ensure that we remain a trusted and preferred supplier of aluminum foil.

In addition to upgrading at JW Aluminium's flagship plant in South Carolina, the automation control system upgrade plan will be carried out at the Russellville in Arkansas, St. Louis in Missouri and williams sport in Pennsylvania. Although a timetable for improving other plants has not yet been announced, JW Aluminium said the upgrade at Goose Creek plant is currently under way and is expected to be completed by 2020.

JW's main products are automobile heat insulation board, honeycomb aluminum foil, flexible packaging and so on.
