SMM, Sept. 10-Minsur's regulatory filing shows that the company's Marcobre department has approved the construction and mining of the Mina Justa copper project in the Marcona region of Peru. Minsur owns 60 per cent of the project and Alxar international, a subsidiary of Copec, owns the remaining 40 per cent. The project is expected to invest US $1.6 billion by the end of 2020, with an annual output of 102000 tons of copper concentrate and 58000 tons of cathode copper.
