SMM8, March 17: concerns that emerging market risks will dampen metal demand have sent global mining stocks to their lowest valuations in five years.

At present, mining stocks have been affected by the shock of the US stock market in the past few months and the trade dispute between China and Turkey.

The turmoil in Turkey sent copper prices to a one-year low on Wednesday.
