Handan lifts smog orange alert on Apr 30

Local steel mills and construction sites will continue to face regulations of air pollution for the second quarter

SHANGHAI, Apr 30 (SMM) – The weather bureau of Handan city in China's top steelmaking province of Hebei will lift the orange alert for smog on 24:00 CST Tuesday April 30, as diffusion conditions improve.

The city extended the level II warning till 24:00 CST on Tuesday April 30, from the originally scheduled deadline on Thursday April 25.

Local steel mills and construction sites will continue to face regulations of air pollution for the second quarter.
