Lithium hydroxide project construction at Dongpeng New Materials to start in May

SHANGHAI, Apr 30 (SMM) – Jiangxi Dongpeng New Materials will commence construction of a battery-grade lithium hydroxide project, with a capacity of 15,000 mt/year, on May 6, a source told SMM on Tuesday April 30.

The project is located in the Xinyu High-tech Economic Development Zone of Jiangxi province.

Jiangxi Dongpeng engages in the business of rubidium, caesium salts, high-purity lithium carbonate, lithium salts, and non-ferrous metal products.
