SMM5: the NuevaUnion Gold and Copper Project in northern Chile is scheduled to complete a feasibility study in early 2018, release an environmental impact report by the end of the year, and expect to be officially put into production by 2022. The company said the initial investment could reach $3.5 billion. The company expects NuevaUnion to have a service life of 36 years, with an annual output of 224000 tons of copper, 269000 ounces of gold and 1700 tons of molybdenum for the first five years.
