SMM: Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology ILT (Fraunhofer Institute of Laser Technology in Aachen, Germany) will create a machine that can disassemble two mobile phones in a minute. The aim is to recycle raw materials such as copper, silver, gold, neodymium and tantalum from old electronic equipment and use them to make new mobile phones, computers and tablets.
The robot removes two mobile phones in a minute to recover copper, silver, gold, neodymium, tantalum and other raw materials.
