Two germanium producers in Inner Mongolia close for maintenance

SHANGHAI, Apr 25 (SMM) – Tongli Germanium and Mengdong Germanium in Xilingol of Inner Mongolia have suspended for maintenance and might not restart if the market extends decline, the companies told SMM on Thursday April 25. 

Prices of germanium started to fall in early March, and posted 7,550 yuan/kg as of April 25, down 3.8%, or 300 yuan/kg from March 4, SMM assessed.
