SHANGHAI, Apr 25 (SMM) – Liuan city of China's eastern province of Anhui will offer subsidies for local hydrogen refuelling stations by 30% of the capital input in construction, according to a statement by the Liuan government on Monday April 22.
Liuan is the first city in Anhui to grant such a subsidy. The move aims to speed the growth of hydrogen refuelling station within the city and promote the use of hydrogen-powered cars, or fuel-cell vehicles.
A hydrogen refuelling station with a capacity of 1,000 kg per day at 35MPa could receive a maximum subsidy of 4 million yuan, according to the Opinions on Supporting the Development of Hydrogen Fuel Cell Industry.
