Consumption recovery lowers zinc social inventories

Inventories across Shanghai, Guangdong and Tianjin fell below 200,000 mt as of Apr 15

SHANGHAI, Apr 15 (SMM) – Recovery of downstream demand depleted seaborne arrivals from last week and lowered social inventories of refined zinc across Shanghai, Guangdong and Tianjin below 200,000 mt as of Monday April 15.

Social inventories of refined zinc across the three areas decreased by 6,900 mt from Friday April 12 and by 6,700 mt from Monday April 8 to stand at 196,200 mt as of Monday April 15, SMM data showed.
