Operating rates at zinc oxide producers rise to 53.57% in Mar

Zinc oxide producers will maintain regular operation in the traditional high season of Apr

SHANGHAI, Apr 12 (SMM) – Operating rates across Chinese zinc oxide producers grew 14.58 percentage points from February, to 53.57% in March, SMM data showed on Thursday April 11. This was 0.12 percentage point higher from March 2018. 

Zinc oxide producers will maintain regular operation in the traditional high season of April. SMM expects the rate to jump 2.63 percentage points on the month, but to dip 0.91 percentage point on the year, to 56.19% in April.
