DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Apr 9 (SMM) – Sales of new energy passenger vehicles in China increased 100.9% year on year in March, to stand at 111,000 units, while sales of the traditional patrol vehicles in March shrank 15% on the year, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) said on Tuesday April 9.
CAAM raised its expectation of China's new energy vehicle (NEV) sales in 2019, to 1.7 million units, from its previous estimate of 1.6 million units.
In 2018, sales of NEVs posted some 1.2 million units, CAAM data showed.
