Henan to shut 400,000 mt of primary aluminium capacity in 2019

This is on the backdrop of supply-side structural reform

SHANGHAI, Mar 29 (SMM) – Henan province in central China aimed to shut 400,000 mt/year of low-efficiency primary aluminium capacity this year, according to its 2019 plan for economic and social development released on March 20.

On the backdrop of supply-side structural reform, Henan will continue its efforts in upgrading traditional industries this year.
