Zhejiang province launched a two-month inspection campaign over potential safety hazards targeting the chemicals sector, xinhuanet.com reported on Wednesday March 27.
This came after a fatal blast at a chemical plant in Yancheng of Jiangsu province on March 21. The death toll from the explosion stood at 78 as of Wednesday.
