DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsCar InsightSHANGHAI, Mar 26 (SMM) – China’s exports of silicon metals stood at about 37,000 mt in February, down 45.1% from January, showed the latest data from China Customs.
The Chinese New Year period accounted for the substantial decline in silicon exports. Poor orders after the CNY holiday also accounted for last month’s weak exports.
SMM expects silicon metal exports to return above 50,000 mt in March.
