Taiyuan extends yellow alert for smog till Mar 27

The level III emergency warning was originally scheduled to end on Mar 22

SHANGHAI, Mar 26 (SMM) – Taiyuan in China's northern province of Shanxi, close to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei areas, extended its yellow alert for smog till CST 24:00 on Wednesday March 27. 
 
The level III emergency warning was originally scheduled to end on Friday March 22. 

Under the yellow alert, local industrial producers will face more frequent inspections from the authorities. Heavy industries will also be required to cut or suspend capacity.
