Imports of bauxite expand in Feb

Volumes expanded 1.14 million mt from Jan to stand at 9.41 million mt in Feb

SHANGHAI, Mar 22 (SMM) – China’s imports of bauxite expanded 1.14 million mt from January to stand at 9.41 million mt in February, showed the latest data from China Customs.

Bauxite imports from Australia, Indonesia and the Republic of Guinea rose 1.26 million mt last month, contributing to the gains in overall imports.
