SHANGHAI, Mar 18 (SMM) – China produced some 33.82 million mt of steel bar in January-February, up 10.9% from the same period a year earlier, showed data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Monday March 18.
In the first two months of the year, domestic production of medium-sized steel belt and strip increased 12.1% year on year, to stand at 23.93 million mt.
Output of wire rods registered 22.86 million mt in January-February, up 11.8% on the year.
