Daily crude steel output at CISA member mills rises 0.7% in late-Feb

In Feb, daily production of crude steel across steel mills averaged 2.53 million mt, up 4.38% from Jan

SHANGHAI, Mar 11 (SMM) – Output of crude steel across its member mills averaged 1.96 million mt per day during February 21-28, up 0.7% from February 11-20, the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA) said on Monday March 11

In February, daily production of crude steel across steel mills averaged 2.53 million mt, up 4.38% from January, CISA data showed. 

As of February 28, inventories of steel products across CISA member mills decreased 2.9%, or 426,000 mt from February 20 and came in at 14.28 million mt.
