Feb exports of unwrought aluminium, semis decline from Jan

Exports shrank to 343,000 mt in Feb, down 7.7% from a year earlier

SHANGHAI, Mar 8 (SMM) – China’s exports of unwrought aluminium and aluminium products shrank to 343,000 mt in February, down 7.7% from a year earlier, showed data from China Customs released on Friday March 8.

Monthly exports of unwrought aluminium and aluminium semis notched a four-year high in January, standing at 552,000 mt.

In the first two months of 2019, China’s exports of unwrought aluminium and aluminium products amounted to 896,000 mt, up 9.7% year on year.
