Political meeting to suspend tin ore production at Huanggang Mining

Tin ore shortages suspended the concentrating mill of Nanfang Mining in Hunan province from the start of Feb

SHANGHAI, Mar 7 (SMM) – Tin ore producer Huanggang Mining in Inner Mongolia planned to suspend  for two weeks due to controls over explosive materials during the two political sessions, SMM learned on Thursday March 7. 

The miner's annual production of tin ore averages 2,000 mt. 

SMM also learned that shortages of tin ore suspended the concentrating mill of Nanfang Mining in Hunan province from the start of February. The closure is likely to extend to the end of March. 

The concentrating mill has an annualised output of 4,000 mt.
